In the world of driver’s cars, few come better than the 991-gen 911 GT3 RS.

Although it may no longer have a manual transmission, it’s still a vehicle that always puts the driver first, offering engaging electric steering and an almighty six-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine revving all the way to 8,800 rpm.

The most enthusiast owners could daily drive a GT3 RS but in reality, it’s a car to be enjoyed on a racetrack or along some picturesque mountain roads. The following clip depicts the latter as a stunning silver RS screams up Switzerland’s famous San Bernardino Pass.

The pass was once featured in Top Gear’s endeavours to find the world’s greatest driving roads and combines flowing corners with tight hairpins, a lack of crash barriers along much of it and a silky smooth surface.

It’s therefore perfect for the 911 and beautifully presented in the video below. This really is motoring bliss.
