Following in the footsteps of the Espace, Talisman and Clio, the all-new Renault Koleos has adopted the Initiale Paris signature, just in time for the 2016 Paris Auto Show.
The high-end version of the SUV, which will go on sale in selected European markets next spring, can be had with the exclusive Amethyste Black paint scheme, with dark metallic purple hues, special exterior badging, decorative mouldings on the front wings and 19-inch diamond-cut wheels.
While the exterior could seem too similar to the standard Koleos, things change once we open the door and come face to face with the black or grey-patterned full-grain Nappa leather upholstery, leather-trimmed steering wheel and gear lever, specific dashboard and door trims and a leather-trimmed instrument panel.
The list of features also includes electrically-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats, R-Link 2 infotainment with 8.7-inch screen in a portrait-format, Bose high-end audio system, ‘Initiale Paris’ badging on the door sills, steering wheel insert, embossed into the front seat backs, and on the back of the front headrests.
Driving aids present on the SUV are the Active Emergency Braking System, Lane Departure Warning, Safe Distance Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition with Over Speed Prevention, Blind Spot Warning, Tiredness Detection Warning, rearview camera, front, rear and side parking sensors, Easy Park Assist, and automatic high/low beams.
Renault is also offering buyers of the new Koleos Initiale Paris access to a dedicated call center, which provides “constructive, tailored responses to requests for assistance in the event of any issues“, and can make appointments within 24 hours. Depending on the market, the SUV can also benefit from a range of optional services such as the vehicle collection and return service, the provision of a car for when the Koleos is being serviced, and “a valet of the customer’s vehicle“.
