A day is what separates enthusiasts from catching a first glimpse into the 2016 Paris Auto Show, and Renault is working hard to make sure that everything is ready for the big reveal.
Taking center stage at the French automaker’s stand will be a new concept car, called Trezor, which is described as a “worthy successor to the DeZir“ concept, presented back in 2010. The study, whose shape remains unknown at the time, is said to mark “the beginning of a brand new design cycle” for Renault.
“Trezor kicks off a new chapter in the history of Renault styling, while the name of the new concept car conjures up the image of a prized, multifaceted object to be discovered and explored. The letter ‘Z’ refers to its electric Z.E. powertrain“, the automaker writes in the short statement that accompanies the teaser image.
Before Renault will be ready to pull the covers off their most recent study, we will remind you that the company’s stand in Paris will include the facelifted Clio, Scenic Edition 1, Koleos Initiale Paris, and the new Alaskan pickup truck. The new models could also be joined by the Clio RS 16, Megane Sedan and facelifted Zoe as well.
The manufacturer’s press conference will commence on Thursday, September 29, in Hall 1, at 9:15 am CET (3.15 am EST) and will be led by Chairman and CEO Carlos Ghosn and SVT Corporate Design Laurens van den Acker.
