Alfa Romeo fans in the UK can now order the updated 2016 Mito from £12,960 OTR.
At this price you can purchase the entry-level ‘Mito’ version which features a 1.4-liter petrol engine, new 16″ alloys, satin chrome-effect exterior detailing (grille surrounds, headlamp and tail lamp surrounds), air conditioning, Alfa DNA driving mode selector, rear spoiler and a 5″ Uconnect touchscreen display with DAB & Bluetooth connectivity.
Other engine choices include the 875 Turbo Petrol TwinAir 105 HP for £14,660 and the 1.3 JTDM-2 95 HP for £15,620. There are also a whole bunch of optional packs to choose from such as the £310 Visibility Pack, the Comfort Pack (same price), the £300 Sport Pack, plus £450 for dual zone climate control and £750 for the electric sunroof.
Moving up in the range, the old ‘Distinctive’ trim level has now been replaced by the ‘Super’ which adds cruise control, 17″ Turbine alloys, front fog lamps, special upholstery with Eco-Leather side bolstering, aluminum sports pedals, chrome effect window sills, satin-effect door handles plus the Comfort Pack as standard.
Options on the ‘Super’ trim include the Lusso Pack (leather, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control – £1,750) and 18″ alloys (£400). Prices for the Alfa Romeo Mito Super differ from £16,360 for the 105 HP turbo petrol to £16,960 for the 95 HP 1.3-liter diesel, and finally £18,160 for the 140 HP 1.4-liter MultiAir with ALFA TCT transmission and steering wheel-mounted gearshift paddles.
The very well-spec’d Mito ‘Speciale’ on the other hand replaces the old QV Line model, and is priced from £17,110 to £18,910, adding 17″ darkened five-hole alloys, a flat-bottom steering wheel, red stitching on the steering wheel, gear shifter and handbrake, darkened headlining, sports instruments, fabric & Alcantara sports seats and a whole bunch of dark gloss and carbon fiber-effect finishes. Available options include leather upholstery (£1,000), visibility pack, dual-zone climate control, electric sunroof, sat-nav and a £675 eight-speaker BOSE audio system.
Finally, the range-topping Mito ‘Veloce’ costs upwards of £20,500 OTR and packs a 1.4-liter MultiAir 170 HP petrol with the ALFA TCT transmission. Standard equipment includes 18″ darkened five-hole alloys, Alfa Active Suspension system, Brembo brakes, upgraded Uconnect 5″ infotainment system with sat-nav and twin chrome exhaust tail pipes. Optional extras are the same as for the previous two versions, except for the £2,000 Sabelt Alcantara Sports seats with carbon fiber shells.
