With the Kodiaq, Skoda is entering the ever-growing world of big SUVs for the first time and aims to offer customers its most advanced, versatile and practical vehicle ever.
While we won’t know how the SUV performs for quite some time and whether it’ll be received well by consumers, Theophilus Chin has designed how a pickup truck variant of the model could look.
With the exception of the small Felicia pickup, the Czech automaker has never produced pickup and chances are, things will remain that way for the foreseeable.
However, given increased demand for these types of vehicles and automakers willingness to make them a reality, there remains a slight chance Skoda will decide to do the same at some stage. If it did, the spacious Kodiaq would be an ideal car to base a Honda Pilot-like pickup truck around and one which, in theory, could give the Toyota Hilux some tips.
