UK customers can now order a model from Smart’s new Brabus range, with prices starting at £16,320 on-the-road.
Those interested in the Forfour or the Cabrio, need to spend £16,815 OTR or £18,460 OTR respectively. On top of that, Brabus customers can add the Premium package for £845, which means a height adjustable driver’s seat and steering wheel, heated and electrically operated mirrors, rear parking sensors and a smart media system.
For £625 you can also add the night sky option, which is a fabric folding sunroof available only on Smart Forfour models.
Further options include Brabus Xclusive, which adds Brabus leather sports seats, a bi-fabric dashboard (leather & mesh), Brabus floor mats and Xclusive badging for an additional £3,170. Brabus Xclusive models also come standard with the Premium Plus package (£1,345 on other versions), which includes ambient lighting, rear view camera, automatic window wipers and lights, fog lamps with cornering function and a center armrest.
In terms of performance, the Brabus range is powered by the existing turbocharged 898 cc engine, now delivering 109 HP instead of the 90 HP in non-Brabus models. The cars also feature the Brabus Performance sports suspension with specially adapted ESP, sports power steering and a twinamic dual-clutch transmission with race function.
As for looks, all Brabus models come with specific styling updates such as Brabus badging, the sports steering wheel, 16/17″ alloys (front/rear), Brabus seats and custom handbrake and gear shifter featuring the tuner’s logo.
