The drawn-out promotional process for The Grand Tour is continuing ahead of the motoring show’s worldwide debut on November 18.
In the latest of a series of brief videos taking us behind the scenes of the show, Jeremy Clarkson and producer Andy Wilman show the impressive tech set-up at its tent during filming of the studio segments.
With an array of screens, speakers and technicians, the ‘tech tent’ is good enough to fight a small war, control an aircraft carrier or launch a spaceship. At least that’s what Clarkson wishes was true.
Even though filming for the show has been ongoing for over a year, few details are known about what we can expect to see in the first season. Based on a recent teaser trailer, it seems possible that the first 70-minute episode will include the long-awaited hypercar comparison test between the Ferrari LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder and McLaren P1.
