Red might be the international motorsport color of Italy (used by Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Lancia, and Abarth since the 1920s), and the default choice on any Ferrari, but there’s something about “Nero” that really clicks with the new era cars.
AWT Motorsports’ 488 GTB comes with a few more mods, but nothing outlandish. As you can see, the car has been lowered and wears HRE Performance Wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zeros, which are somewhat reminiscent of the Speedline/OZ center-lock racing rims found in the F40 LM.
In fact, the entire car harks back to the turbocharged F40, and while it may not have the triple exhaust, AWT installed an Akrapovič system to really let the 488’s 3.8-litre V8 sing.
And sing it does, to the tune (pun intended, of course) of 750 HP courtesy of a Novitec Rosso upgrade.
