Volvo Cars continue their V90 Cross Country teasing game with a new image that shows the manliest version of their latest estate under covers and surrounded by mountains on the shores of a lake.
We may not have witnessed yet the rugged family five-door executive model, but since the new Volvo V90 Cross Country will follow the same path of its predecessors, we know what to expect: plastic body cladding, new bumpers on both ends with a more rugged design and an increased ride height.
Set to target the Audi A6 Allroad and the upcoming Mercedes-Benz E-Class All Terrain (hey, BMW, where are you?), the all-new Volvo V90 Cross Country is expected to use the same powertrains as the rest of the redesigned 90 range, but unlike its counterparts, all versions will adopt an all-wheel drive system.
As for the exact reveal date, this remains unknown at this point, but with the upcoming 2016 Paris Auto Show set to welcome journalists from all over the globe on September 29, we expect the Swedish lifting the veils off the new Volvo V90 Cross Country at the French capital.
