Looking beyond its rather peculiar exterior styling, the new Renault Megane is unique compared to its predecessor as it is only available as a five-door sedan.
Will this change? There are no signs pointing to that, for as good as the coupe looks it has to bring in the numbers and it simply won’t, but Theophilus Chin created a couple of renderings depicting a new Megane Coupe anyway.
The Renault Clio is no longer offered in three-door guise and given dwindling demand for such models, it’s unlikely another three-door Megane will be produced. What’s more, it’s already been revealed that the all-new RenaultSport Megane line will be based around the five-door, rather than the three-door as in the third-gen model.
