Meet Owen Miller, a Scottish geologist who moved to South America in search of a job, discovering on the way his passion for some classic American metal.

“Cars, for me, were not a part of my life before, living in Scotland — I didn’t even own a car,” says Miller in the latest Petrolicious film. “I came down to South America looking, basically, for work as a geologist. When I moved here, I bought a ’65 Mustang, and it sort of, all sort of went from there.”

Miller’s passion grew over the past 22 years and after owning a number of different cars, a friend said to him, “You need a Cadillac,” to which he replied, “Well, yeah, of course…who doesn’t?”

Finding a Cadillac in Peru though is near impossible, with Miller having to import his 1973 Cadillac Eldorado from the US to Peru. This makes it a really rare car to see in that region, with people showing their appreciation in every opportunity.

“It brightens other people’s days, that’s the main thing about it,” Miller says. It certainly brightened ours just by watching the video linked below.
