That video from the YouTube channel named ‘The Grand Tour’ showing Clarkson, May and Hammond from their heydays on BBC’s Top Gear? It’s fake – well, not the video per se, but the channel. Turns out we were hoodwinked, as Amazon informed us in an email that they’re not related to said page on YouTube, even though it bears the upcoming show’s name.

Actually, a quick search on Google’s video-sharing website shows at least a few dozen channels named “The Grand Tour”, but only one of them is the real deal and you’ll find it here. Don’t say we didn’t warn you…

As for the actual series, there’s only a month left until The Grand Tour airs its first episode on Amazon Prime.

The trio of presenters along with an army of people behind the scenes are said to have finished blowing things up and testing insanely-fast cars, and are placing the final touches on The Grand Tour, which will have its premiere on November 18.

Correction: An earlier version of this piece mistakenly said that the following video was from Amazon’s official ‘The Grand Tour’ YouTube channel. The video is from an unrelated – and likely to be shut down soon – channel
