Aimed, by Ducati, to those who still want comfort and easy handling from their sport motorcyle, the new SuperSport is a versatile and accessible way of going about your business on two wheels.
The SuperSport uses a twin-cylinder 937-cc Testastretta engine, putting down 113 HP and a full, yet linear torque curve. Furthermore, its temperament on the road can be adjusted thanks to the three available riding modes: Sport, Touring and Urban.
Other features include the relaxed rider and passenger position (compared to the high-end models, we suppose), good airflow deflection from the height-adjustable screen and increased stability thanks to the Ducati Safety Pack (Bosch ABS + Ducati Traction Control).
The SuperSport range includes the SuperSport S version with its fully adjustable Ohlins suspension, Ducati Quick Shift up/down system and a rear seat cover – the latter available as an option for the regular SuperSport.
Prices in the UK will start from £10,995 for the entry-level version, whereas £12,295 will get you the SuperSport S in Red and £12,495 the SuperSport S in Silk White.
The new Ducati SuperSport range is currently on display at Intermot 2016 alongside the new 2017 Monster 821 Euro 4 (now available in Dust Grey) and the Diavel Euro 4. Other new developments include Volcano Grey being added to the upgraded Multistrada 1200 S’ color palette, and a new EVO electronics package featuring traction control and wheelie control for the 1299 Panigale.
