There are few cars held in as high regard as the Ferrari F40, one of the finest to ever wear the Prancing Horse.
Just 1,315 examples left the Maranello factory and, unlike many modern supercars, most have remained true to their heritage, free of any aftermarket components and unnecessary add-ons.
The following F40 isn’t one of them. Contrasting the stunning Rosso Corsa paint work are a set of custom HRE RS105 wheels painted in Satin Black and baring some similarities to the HREs that adorned Gas Monkey Garage’s infamous F40, but looking even better.
Some Ferrari purists may consider these wheels as blasphemy but, in our eyes, they make the legendary supercar look even more aggressive. So yes, if we were fortunate enough to own an F40 we’d be tempted to go for something like this – we’d still keep the original rims in store, though, just in case we ever decided to sell.
