Following its debut at the Paris Motor Show last month, Ferrari is bringing its new GTC4 Lusso T to locales around the world – and the latest stop was in Singapore.
The Prancing Horse marque revealed the eight-cylinder, four-seat supercar in the Southeast Asian island city-state just last week, where supercars are rampant but sky-high tax rates can quickly quadruple new car prices. So don’t be surprised if the Lusso commands well over a million US Dollars even with the downsized engine.
The GTC4 Lusso T is based on Maranello’s twelve-cylinder, all-wheel drive model, but does away with the heavy powertrain in favor of a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8. That’s the same award-winning engine as you’d find in the 488 GTB and California T, but in this application, it sends 602 hp to the rear wheels alone.
The local debut event took place at Capella Singapore on the resort island of Sentosa. “The Ferrari GTC4Lusso T has all the superior qualities Ferrari owners have come to admire in the brand,” said Ferrari’s Asian market chief Dieter Knechtel. “We are certain that the Ferraristi in Singapore are going to take a great liking to this model.”
