This is the first video footage of Ferrari testing the successor of their F12 on public roads.
The new model, which is expected to debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, is hiding under heavy camouflage but the unmistakable shape of the F12 suggests that this will be a facelifted version of the existing model rather than an all-new car.
The 2017 F12 M -as it’s expected to be named- will follow pretty much the same recipe with the GTC4 Lusso then, with Ferrari redesigning the front and rear sections of the body with new bumpers and lights.
Under the bonnet there will be an updated version of the existing, naturally aspirated V12 engine which will offer more power than the current 730hp and closer to the F12 TdF’s 769hp.
The chassis will be also enhanced, most likely with Ferrari’s active rear steering system that is featured in the hardcore F12 TdF and GTC4 Lusso models. Other updates include a new layout for the cabin and the latest infotainment system which, in the case of the GTC4Lusso, comes with a 10,25-inch touchscreen high-res display.
