Well, we shouldn’t point the finger at supercars and their drivers alone: when it comes to eerie overtakes, even a Volkswagen Fox can do the trick.
Shot somewhere in the Czech Republic, the 55-second long video shows everyday European traffic – until the lane splits to make room for a left turn, that is. That’s when the small red hatch blisters into the scene, trying to do an almost impossible overtake, one that succeeded by just a few inches and could have easily led to a serious accident.
Even in frame-by-frame viewing, it’s still hard to see how anyone could have squeezed a car through that extremely narrow space at high speed, missing both the Skoda Octavia that was trying to turn left and the Fabia, whose brake lights flashed for a second or two.
