The bespoke ‘Hoonicorn’ Ford Mustang driven by Ken Block in Gymkhana 7 in unquestionably the craziest piece of kit the rally star has ever featured in one of his videos. Apparently though, it’s now just a little bit slow for his needs.
In the coming hours, Block will unveil ‘Hoonicorn V2’ and through a selection of teasers, we’ve learnt that it will turn the insanity dial up to well past 11.
The original car used a custom Roush Yates 6.7-liter V8 tuned to deliver 845 hp and mated to a Sadev all-wheel drive sytstem. The new creation now produces around 1,400 hp, twin turbochargers and features meth injection in a combination promising to make the car among the craziest ever adorned with a Mustang badge.
As with the original, all the goodies of the Hoonicorn V2 will be on display with the turbochargers popping out of the hood and the exhausts spitting flames straight towards the windshield.
This promises to be insanity personified.
