With the Kodiaq ready to hit UK showrooms early next year, Skoda went ahead and released all UK prices and specs, as customers will be able to place orders as early as next month.

The Czech automaker’s first-ever seven-seater SUV will start from £21,495 OTR, for which you get the entry-level 1.4 TSI model in ‘S’ trim, featuring LED daytime running lights, 17″ alloys, leather multifunction steering wheel, manual air conditioning, smartphone connectivity and Front Assist.

There are three other trim levels to consider though, each of them brimming with more standard equipment than the last. SE models are priced from £22,945 and come with 18″ alloys, sunset glass, cruise control and rear parking sensors. Other features include dual-zone climate control, rain & light sensors and auto-dimming rear-view mirrors.

In SE L trim, the Kodiaq costs upwards of £28,595 and adds seven-seats as standard, a power tailgate, 19″ alloys, sat-nav with WiFi, Drive Mode Select, Alcantara upholstery, heated front seats and full LED headlights. Finally, the top of the range Edition spec models boast everything you get in SE L trim, while also adding Lane Assist, High Beam Assist, wireless charging, phone box, Blind Spot Detection and chrome roof rails.

The Kodiaq will feature five engine options from launch, with 4×4 systems and DSG transmissions also available. Power outputs range from 125 PS to 190 PS, with all engines featuring Stop-Start systems as well as brake energy recovery.

There are three total petrol engines available to the Kodiaq range, starting with two 1.4 TSI units with outputs of 125 PS and 150 PS, followed by a range-topping 2.0 TSI with 180 PS. The entry-level engine is available in two-wheel drive manual form only, while the 150 PS unit can be spec’d in either manual & 4×4, two-wheel drive DSG or 4×4 DSG form.

As for the diesel lineup, we’re looking at a pair of 2.0-liter TDI units with outputs of 150 PS and 190 PS respectively. The former can be specified with a manual 4×4 transmission, two-wheel drive DSG and 4×4 DSG, where as the 190 PS models are fitted with seven-speed DSG transmissions only and have 4×4 systems as standard.

First UK deliveries are expected in April 2017.

Note: 2.0 TDI 115 PS models will not be available at launch
