Alongside the impending Jeep Grand Wagoneer thaat leaked during an FCA dealer presentation, two teasers were dropped of the next-generation Ram 1500 pickup, pinned to arrive in the latter half of 2018.
Compared to the current model, the Ram depicted in the Twitter images below from Motor 1 has adopted a fresh new design which should make it look as up-to-date and modern as the 2017 Ford F-150 range.
From the front, the new car has a much sleeker design fascia with what appears to be a blacked-out grille and a set of slim LED headlights similar in shape to those of the Dodge Charger. A redesigned skid plate and bumper is also visible as are a pair of fog lights.
The freshened up appearance continues at the rear with the adoption of new vertical taillights with a much more chiselled and angular shape and potentially, the utilization of LEDs. Also visible at the rear is an overhauled tailgate with bold creases and sharp lines.
At this early stage, virtually no details are known about the 2019 Ram 1500 pickup but inevitably, it will adopt a number of different engines and transmissions designed to improve fuel efficiency and slash emissions.
