Nissan has previewed the special March Midnight Edition before the vehicle’s world premiere at the Sao Paulo International Motor Show.
The car, based around the compact March (known elsewhere as the Micra), comes courtesy of designers from the firm’s Brazilian design studio and is believed to be a one-off.
Based around the outgoing model, rather than the recently-revealed 2017 Micra, the car adopts numerous distinctive components, most notably the bespoke front fascia with a gaping wide grille and prominent lower lip spoiler. Additionally, the car has been adorned in a special shade of red complemented by a black livery, roof, pillars and wing mirrors.
While no interior pictures have been issued by Nissan, the automaker says that it too has been tweaked and now includes a glossy black finish on the steering wheel, gear selector, multimedia system frame and window switches. Elsewhere the March Midnight Edition includes highlighted stitching throughout.
