Nowadays, the V12 Vantage S, GT12, and GT8 have cast a shadow over the regular models, but the standard hand-built baby Astons are still a stylish proposition for those looking for a capable Grand Tourer. Especially if it’s enhanced by “Q”.
Q by Aston Martin is the British car maker’s equivalent of Rolls Royce’s bespoke, McLaren’s MSO etc. The division is Aston’s unique personalization service that builds customer-bespoke vehicles. Their latest creation was commissioned by Aston Martin Stockholm, and it’s named Swedish Forest Edition.
At first glance, it looks like your regular V8 Vantage S, but the customized details set this special, which will be made in just four examples, apart. According to Aston Martin, the car’s theme was inspired by the color of the forest and it features unique stitching patterns and bespoke wooden waterfall fascia.
The latter can be found on center console and on the door sills (as bespoke plaques). The forest motif governs the entire cabin, with the upholstery representing the ground, the wooden facia represents the three trunks, and headliner the “forest roof”. Turn on the interior lights and you’ll even have artificial komorebi.
On the outside, the V8 Vantage S’ gray body is contrasted by green carbon fiber accents, which casually remind you that the vehicle still has 430 hp and 361 lb-ft (489 Nm) of torque, and can go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds.
