After more than a year of waiting, the first full-length trailer for The Grand Tour has been released ahead of the show’s global premiere on November 18.
While the scale of Jeremy Clarkson’s, James May’s and Richard Hammond’s new motoring show has been known for quite some time, few official details have been released about what we can expect from the show. Until now.
The 94-second trailer previews some of the ambitious challenges the trio have embarked on across four different continents in recent months.
One of the highlights of the first season of The Grand Tour will be the hybrid hypercar test between the McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder. We will also see the trio driving through some stunning roads in an Alfa Romeo 4C Spider, Mazda MX-5 Miata and Zenos E10, the three hitting the Californian desert in modified Ford Mustangs, going to the Bahamas and Clarkson experiencing the insane performance of the Aston Martin Vulcan.
What’s also immediately obvious from this trailer is that the production value appears to be on a completely different level to Top Gear with even better cinematography and stunning 4k images.
Starting November 18, The Grand Tour will be available for weekly streaming on Amazon Prime.
