Automobile and art connoisseurs are invited by Bugatti to take a tour of the Petersen Automotive Museum for an impressive exhibition that shows the work of the entire Bugatti family.
From the paintings, design objects and furniture made by Carlo Bugatti, to the animal sculptures signed by Rembrandt Bugatti, and the beloved cars created by Ettore and Jean Bugatti, the unique display is said to be the largest of its kind.
“‘The Art of Bugatti’ at the Petersen Automotive Museum impressively demonstrates the roots of the Bugatti brand in the art of design. We thank the museum for making this fantastic exhibition possible. There is no other automobile brand that can illustrate its history, not only with cars, but also with sculptures, paintings and design objects. This makes Bugatti a unique brand“, said chief Wolfgang Durheimer.
Car enthusiasts should be thrilled by the presence of a 1926 Type 35C Grand Prix, 1932 Type 41 Royale, 1928 Type 44 Flacre, 1930 Type 46 Cabriolet, 1931 Type 50 S and 1932 Type 55 Supersport, in addition to the Type 57SC Atlantic, which is one of just four models ever built. The display also includes the last car produced under the family’s ownership, a Type 101C from 1952, along with the 1994 EB110 Super Sport Le Mans and a 2013 Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse. Taking center stage is the company’s latest product, the Chiron, which will be on display for three weeks.
