Long gone are the days when muscle cars were nothing more than big, brash V8-powered behemoths incapable of making turns.
Nowadays, American-grown muscle cars are among the best bang-for-your-buck performance cars on the market and of the current crop, the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 are arguably the finest.
While we wait with baited breath for the first comparison tests between the duo, we can at least enjoy the differences in how they sound thanks to this comparison video.
In terms of engines, the 2017 Camaro ZL1 makes use of a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine delivering 650 hp. The Mustang GT350 on the other hand has a naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8 pumping out 526 hp.
Admittedly, these two aren’t direct rivals, we’ll have to wait for the new Camaro Z/28 for that. Nevertheless, both sound mightily impressive but if you had to choose, which one would it be?
