If there’s one thing James Bond taught us, is that you can’t go wrong with an Aston Martin. Even if it’s a boat.
That’s why Quintessence Yachts teamed up with Aston Martin to develop the ultimate speed boat. According to its makers, the AM37 took two years of research and development before materializing, and it’s easy to see why. Every detail of the machine was thoroughly engineered, by combining the best in innovative technology and bespoke craftsmanship.
There’s nothing to spoil its lines, but there’s more to the design than meets the eye, and Harry Metcalfe (from Harry’s garage) is more than happy to guide usthrough the AM37’s hidden secrets.
For example, take a look at the wraparound windscreen. It has been crafted from a single piece of sculpted glass, setting new industry standards with its curvature.
Powering the AM37 are three engine options (one diesel and two petrol), with the most powerful developing about 1,040 hp thanks to two (yes, two) 8.6-Litre, Mercury V8 engines – good for pushing it to an estimated 50 knots (93 km/h).
