Judging by the number of camouflaged Lamborghinis we’ve seen lately, the Italian car maker is most certainly up to something. We won’t even have to wait long, either, as a new model will allegedly make its global debut this month.
According to CarBuzz, the new Lambo will be unveiled at a private event in L.A., right before the Los Angeles Auto Show will open its gates.
It’s unknown what the Italian car maker is planning to debut, but both a more hardcore variant of Huracan (most likely dubbed the Performante) and the Aventador facelift were spotted testing at the Nurburgring not that long ago. Then, there’s the Urus SUV to consider, too, although it’s not expected to arrive earlier than 2018.
In the invitation sent to the magazine, Lambo described the car as an “international debut of pure, powerful performance”, and a “world premiere of the newest expression to emerge from Sant’Agata Bolognese.”
Since almost any Lamborghini fit in that description, we’ll just have to wait a couple of weeks or so to find what it is, although the Huracan Performante seems a safe bet.
