The SA Aperta has all the ingredients of being remembered as a truly iconic Ferrari in the future. In all likelihood, it is going to continue to rise in value, eventually reaching atmospheric proportions.
For now, the droptop variant of the 599 GTO is known as a stripped-back, ultra-limited model fetching more than the original starting price of the LaFerrari. Case in point, this particularly interesting SA Aperta for sale in the Netherlands.
Currently offered by CarLink on James Edition, it has an asking price of 1.168 million euros ($1.29 million) and is one of the most interesting of the 80 ever produced. While most were finished in traditional Ferrari colors, this one has been painted in a special shade of cream dubbed Avorio. The paint is then offset by a brown leather interior.
Although it is for sale in Holland, this SA Aperta was originally delivered new to the United States, hence the orange side markers. That could dissuade some potential owners from committing to it over a Euro-spec car but in its favor, it has only 1,624 mile under its bellowing V12 belt, making it a very tempting prospect.
