BMW has just released the online configurator for the brad new G30-generation 5-Series on its German website.
The comprehensive configurator allows you to spec out your dream 5-Series and starts out with the various engines available and then the different trim lines. From there, you can customize the exterior starting with the paint finish with our favorite certainly the Mediterranean Blue pictured above and below. No less than 22 wheel options then complete the exterior options.
In the cabin, there are dozens of different leather options to choose from all of which are beautifully displayed with the available 360 degree view simulation. There are also a number of accents on offer including piano black finishes and various wood grain panels.
From launch, the 5-Series will be available with four different turbocharged engines, consisting of a 248 hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder, a 335 hp inline-six and two diesels, a 2.0-liter and a larger 3.0-liter.
Two additional models will follow shortly after, the 530e plug-in hybrid and the most impressive of them all, the M550i xDrive with its 455 hp twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 that can out-accelerate the current M5.
