The Mercedes-Benz G63 6×6 is one of the wildest vehicles ever produced and remarkably, it can be driven on the streets.
Despite its ludicrous proportions, the bold styling and its twin-turbocharged V8 engine, Brabus decided to modify the 6×6 soon after its release. Now, one of those rare Brabus-tuned examples is up for sale in the United States courtesy of duPont Registry.
The headline of the Brabus B63S-700 is that the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 has been fitted with new turbochargers, a different exhaust system and an increase in boost pressure. This results in an increase from 544 hp as standard up to 690 hp (700PS) and an earth-shattering 708 lb-ft (960 Nm) of torque between 2,000 rpm and 4,500 rpm.
As a result, the Brabus will accelerate from naught to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a respectable 7.4 seconds.
The example in question has been modified to meet U.S. standards and as an asking price of $1.349 million. Sure, that may be hypercar money, but for multi-millionaires with money to burn, it’s a sure fire way of getting lots of attention.
