After debuting in concept guise at last year’s Tokyo Auto Salon, the Daihatsu Copen Adventurer has hit the production line. It will be available to purchase through the firm’s Dress-Formation program that offers bespoke parts that can be fitted onto any existing Copen.
The design of the Copen Adventurer stays true to the concept and sees the ride height of the compact two-seater raised and a set of distinctive five-spoke wheels fitted.
Additionally, the model includes a custom front clip incorporating round air intakes in place of the unique round lights with an ‘X’ in them from the concept. Other special design touches include a brown and bright yellow paint scheme and a set of D Sport bucket seats.
The bodykit for the diminutive roadster is available now in Japan and can be purchased for just 250,000 yen ($2,408).
