The Chinese media managed to get their hands on the first image that shows the cabin layout of the all-new BMW 1-Series Sedan.
Posted by AutoIfeng, the pic reveals an interior design that mirrors the one of the latest X1, as well as the 2-Series Active Tourer and Gran Tourer, with which the four-door compact car shares its UKL platform.
The car pictured here seems to be a range-topping trim, equipped with an automatic transmission and fitted with a floating-style display for the infotainment system that can be controlled using the rotary knob, dual-zone climate control, multi-function steering wheel, leather trim, aluminum inserts and a sunroof.
BMW will launch the new 1-Series Sedan at the 2016 Guangzhou Auto Show later this month. It will be offered in at least three grades, the 118i, 120i and 125i, with the first powered by a 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder turbo engine, with 136 HP, and the other two a 2.0-liter unit, rated at 192 HP and 231 HP respectively.
