Jaguar is a few hours away from lifting the veils off a brand new vehicle, ahead of its official debut scheduled for the 2016 LA Auto Show.
Teased on social media in a short footage that doesn’t exactly reveal anything, it’s believed to be the electric SUV, which has been the subject of several reports over the last few months.
Previously referred to as E-Pace (name unconfirmed), Jag’s zero-emissions SUV should be underpinned by an EV platform.
Power is expected to come from two electric motors, one driving the rear axle, delivering almost 200 HP, and the other one rated at more than 110 HP, setting the front wheels in motion. The two units should be fed by a 70 kWh battery, which, fully-charged, could provide a range between 280 and 300 miles (450-482 km).
Additional details on Jaguar’s first-ever fully electric vehicle remain unknown at this point, but we should learn more about it once it will be officially unveiled tonight, at 8.30 PM PST (11 PM EST/5 AM CET).
