Fresh off the Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta’s world debut at the Paris Auto Show, the first few examples have been delivered and noted Ferrari collector and social media star Josh Cartu recently took delivery of his.
The entrepreneur who races with AFCorse Racing already has an impressive car collection including a beautiful white Ferrari F12tdf, but the LaFerrari Aperta is certainly the most impressive Prancing Horse in his stable.
Cartu’s Aperta is the first we’ve seen in this color and, we must say, it looks even better than the black car displayed at Paris and the red one used in the model’s promotional film. Alongside the white, it includes a subtle black livery with pinstripes running along the center of the bonnet and perfectly matched by the black wheels and black wing mirrors.
These pictures also provide a look at the redesigned doors the LaFerrari Aperta has. The opening mechanism had to be redesigned due to the lack of a fixed roof, meaning the doors open and close at a different angle to the coupe’s and closely mimic the butterfly boors from McLaren.
Although an official starting price for the model hasn’t been made public, each of the 200 units bound for customers will cost over $2 million. However, given the desirability of the model, prices will skyrocket as soon as owners take delivery, making the LaFerrari Aperta a particularly solid investment.
