Although the video describes Kaege as the German version of Singer, the small company is much more than that.

Sure, it uses the same recipe as the Californian workshop, but the result has a different flavor, featuring its own unique details.

Their latest product is the RETRO, which is a pure reincarnation of the classic 901 on modern underpinnings. Based on the 933 generation, it even comes with a restored air-cooled flat-six, for added authenticity.

Other modern touches include air conditioning, six-speed transmission, multi-link rear suspension, airbags, and OBD system – just to name a few.

Behind its rear axle, there’s a 3.6-litre, naturally-aspirated, flat-six that outputs 296 hp. Although it develops a tad more than a 993 Carrera (~10 hp), it weighs only 1,195 kilograms thanks to the carbon-fiber body panels.

If you want to see it on the go, the video below is a great place to start.
