Now that we know what to expect from the Huracan when going up against the likes of the McLaren 12C, 570S or 650S, it’s time to add the wicked-fast 675LT to that group.
The Huracan is so much more than just a baby-Lambo, an entry-level exotic that you purchase only because you couldn’t afford the flagship Aventador.
In fact, the Huracan and the Aventador are actually pretty well matched in a straight line, despite the latter packing an extra 90 PS and 130 Nm (95 lb-ft) of torque – not to mention its considerably higher top speed.
So then how does the Huracan and the 675LT compare? For starters, the McLaren is lighter at 1,403 kg (3,093 lbs) compared to the Lambo’s 1,551 kg (3,419 lbs). The 675LT also boasts more power and torque, rated at 675 PS and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft), where the Huracan can only put down 610 PS and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft).
Still, in spite of their differences, this 1/4 mile drag race ended up being really close, with both models running the distance in well under 11 seconds.
According to DragTimes, had the weather been better, both cars would have been even quicker.
