Italians are very proud of the vehicles they produce and rightly so, they are among the world’s finest, particularly when it comes to supercars. Fittingly then, international visitors to Bologna will now be welcomed to the city with a Lamborghini Huracan ‘Follow Me’ vehicle at the airport.
The car has been designed by the firm’s in-house Centro Stile design facility and will be used at Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport until January 2017. Sure, it’s not necessary but it is oh-so cool and oh-so Italian.
The livery incorporates a bright yellow paint scheme along with a black chequered pattern and a silhouette of the city’s skyline on the doors. It is then complete with the obligatory light bar and really stands out on the runway.
In a straight line, the Huracan can exceed the take-off speeds of even the largest current commercial airliners. A drag race anyone?
