Related to the first Range Rover Sport, but with a more rugged appearance and better off-road credentials, the Land Rover Discovery 3, marketed as LR3 in North America, didn’t take long to conquer those who were looking for a spacious SUV with the significant off-road abilities.
It was one of these fans who came up with a Lego-made model that features opening doors, luggage compartment, engine bay and even a gas-cap, in addition to the fully detailed interior with seating for seven, foldable seats and adjustable handrest. Its creator, who posted it on LegoIdeas, says that it can be “fully motorized with 1 XL motor and 1 servo motor and a pair of LED lights” for an even more imposing stance.
As for its overall shape, it’s easily recognizable as a Land Rover Discovery, and it even sports the company’s name on the hood and the iconic logo on the grille. The attention to detail is uncanny, as you is evident in the image gallery that follows.
