With the addition of the Sports Series range, McLaren has made its products a bit more affordable, lowering the point of admittance to around $200,000.
The British brand will showcase both the 570S and its less hardcore sibling, the 570GT, over the next few days at the 2016 Bologna Motor Show.
Developed using the brand’s racing heritage and with supercar performance, the two use an ultra-light chassis, based on the MonoCell II carbon fiber structure, and feature distinctive designs, along with a wide range of equipment. For the Italian event, McLaren has chosen to showcase a 570S in Ventura Orange and a 570GT in Onyx Black, at the ‘Fuori Salone’ that takes place right outside the show, in the courtyard of the Zambeccari Palace.
“‘Passion drives us’ is our family’s motto, and this is what we find both at the Bologna Motor Show, and in McLaren’s DNA. McLaren cars engage the driver in a unique way, and are perfect for the Italian market, attracting owners who want to be part of an innovative and exclusive experience“, said McLaren Milano’s Chief Executive Officer, Ado Fassina, in the wake of the recent inauguration of the new showroom in the Italian city.
Highlighting the levels of customization available for the McLaren Sports Series family are a wide range of accessories, from the Design Edition and Track Packs, made specifically for the 570S, to the ‘By McLaren’ suite of interiors.
