The new Mercedes-AMG E63 is celebrating its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show and the German firm has brought along a particularly special variant.
Currently on display is the eye-catching E63 S Edition 1, finished in a stealthy paint scheme dubbed Designo Night Black Magno. Additionally, the Edition 1 is unique as it includes matte black 20-inch wheels and the gloss-black Night Package.
The interior of the E63 S Edition 1 then includes black nappa leather complete with yellow stitching and AMG Performance seats. Completing the limited-edition model is carbon fiber trim throughout the cabin and ‘Edition 1’ lettering on the steering wheel.
Under the skin, the model continues to use a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine delivering an incredibly impressive 603 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. All that power is sent to the ground courtesy of an all-wheel drive system and a nine-speed dual-clutch AMG Speedshift transmission with the S reaching 60mph (96km/h) in a neck-(and supercar)-breaking 3.3 seconds and a limited top speed of 186mph (300km/h).
You’ll have to wait until next summer to get your hands on any of the new E63 AMG models in the States.
