To some people, SEMA is as much about automakers showcasing their latest technologies and concepts, as it is about individual builders and other types of brands coming up with all sorts of unique creations.
Of course, you can point to models such as the 1,040 HP Hyundai Santa Fast or something like the 2,000 HP Toyota Land Cruiser and say that those are odd enough as it is.
But then you could also make your way outside to the Toyo Tires Treadpass and see what looks like a small assault vehicle that can shoot a harpoon at you. Also, notice how popular these semi-monster trucks are, like the Bullydog “limo truck”, the Escalade or the F-150s? As for something worthy of a role in the next Mad Max movie, get a load of one of this year’s Battle of the Builders contestants, the gold-plated apocalyptic-looking truck.
