Chevrolet has just released a teaser image of the all-new 2018 Traverse set to debut on January 9 at the Detroit Auto Show 2017.
As recently speculated, General Motors is indeed on the verge of launching an update to the Traverse which has gone without a significant redesign since its 2008 introduction. This image shows that the new model will be much more up-to-date than the outgoing car, although Chevrolet is remaining quiet about the SUV’s key details.
In terms of its design, this teaser shows that the 2018 Traverse will have a similar profile to the current model. With that being said, the side windows do appear slimmer and the front wheel arches more pronounced. The front-end is visibly more upright and, unsurprisingly, there is a new set of headlights and taillights.
In the brief PR spiel accompanying the teaser, Chevrolet says that it will seat eight passengers and “offer the segment’s best third-row legroom and maximum cargo space”.
