Ferrari have marked a presence at the 2016 Adelaide Motorsport Festival in Australia over the weekend, where they celebrated their history with both the city and motorsport.
To make things more interesting for the crowd, the Italian supercar maker has turned to their former Formula One racing driver from the 1980s, Stefan Johansson, who got back at the wheel in the city where he raced at the Adelaide Grand Prix several decades ago.
The 60-year old Swede ex-F1 racer got behind the wheel of the new Ferrari 488 Spider in the Classic Adelaide Rally, taking it from the start line at the Victoria Park. From there, Johansson led a pack of more than 10 Ferraris through the city and its spectacular hills. Some of the names on the list included the 488 GTB, 458 Italia, 458 Speciale, and F12tdf, alongside classics such as the 308 GTB.
The string of events included the Gouger Street Party, at which Johansson in his open-top 488 led a street parade of approximately 170 vehicles through the center of Adelaide, and later on, he took to the track in a Ferrari F156/85.
