It’s not reached icon status yet, but judging by the heaps of praise that’s been thrown at it, it’s very possible the 675LT could, in the future, eventually get there.
Yet there’s no such thing as a perfect car and, while a great number of owners keep them as garage queens to sell for a profit at some point, the select few who choose to enjoy cars like the McLaren get face to face with the shortcomings pretty soon.
This particular vlogger certainly is enjoying his 675LT, as he’s put in 5,000 miles in four months, which, for such a special car, is quite a lot. So far he has been thrilled by the experience, but now he points out five things that are irritating him.
We’ll just mention the first one: the horrendous turning circle. As demonstrated in the video, doing a turnaround is a tedious job, not made easier by the fact that it’s a dual-clutch transmission and reverse is activated by a button, but that’s the price one pays for ultra-quick and precise steering on a hardcore supercar.
Now, as for the rest, you’ll have to watch the video to find out. Well, McLaren never said the 675LT was meant to be a daily driver – quite the opposite, yes?
