Europeans might get the work-related videos when it comes to the Navara, but apparently Nissan believes it has to adopt a different angle for the Middle East.
This was no easy job for the team responsible for promoting it in a market with a very different car culture, but since Arabs are known for the occasional dune-bashing and high-speed drifting, these have been combined into a footage that proves some of the Navara’s credentials in three different tests.
Available in Alabaster White, Starburst Silver, Flame Red, Twilight Grey, and Cayman Blue in the Middle East, the pickup truck promises to meet up with the driver’s demands by getting the job done, regardless if it’s carrying a ton on its bed, being taken to the beach, or on some steep slopes for a picnic, surrounded by nothing else than wilderness.
The Navara is offered with either a 2.5-liter petrol or a 2.5-liter diesel engine. The former develops 168 HP and 244 Nm (180 lb-ft) of torque, while the latter is good for 161 HP and 403 Nm (297 lb-ft) of torque. Depending on the selected version, Nissan throws in either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission.
