It’s safe to say that Tesla has had its share of problems (not to mention delays), but that’s to be expected with a brand new automaker that’s ushering in a high-tech product.
The Model X is its second (third, actually, if you include the Roadster) offering and its first-ever SUV, with the Silicon Valley-based company trying to tap into this burgeoning market.
It is all-electric, of course, but instead of a Model S on stilts, however, it has its own styling, with the highlight being the rear ‘falcon wing’ doors, which open upwards.
These have been the subject of some controversy, but they are not the only feature the Model X has been criticized about. In spite of customers flocking in, there’s been no shortage of complaints about Tesla’s SUV.
Doug DeMuro borrowed one to showcase everything that’s wrong with it, as its critics claim, from the falcon doors not opening in tight spaces to the touchscreen freezing and the Autopilot failing to detect a pedestrian.
In the end, he declared the Model X to be a truly awful car. Or did he?
