German tuner JE Design has expanded its range of Seat conversions by creating their first individualization program for the Ateca SUV.

The program addresses both aesthetic and practical issues, not to mention the performance of the flagship TDI model, which now gets 210 PS and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque as opposed to its factory-standard 190 PS and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft).

In terms of looks, JE Design fitted the Ateca with a protective strip for the top of the bumper (where it meets the cargo bay), a tailgate mounted rear spoiler that supposedly improves aerodynamics and fuel efficiency and side strakes attached to each side of the rear window.

There’s also the available 30 mm (1.1 in) lowering sprints, designed to work with the car’s original dampers, and are suitable for both front and four-wheel drive models. As for the wheels, the program offers a set of four 8.5J x 20″ matte black rims, though there’s also a larger 21″ set available that comes in either matte black or graphite/front polished.

Aside from the power and torque upgrades, JE Design is also offering a choice of 80 mm (3.1 in) diameter tailpipes or oval tailpipes measuring 160 x 90 mm (3.5 in) – both of which available for all-wheel drive diesel models with 110 kW and 140 kW engines.

The conversions can be completed by JE Design and include a two-year warranty on the engine, gearbox and drivetrain.
