Additional pictures and details of the next-generation Suzuki Swift have surfaced online following the emergence of a leaked brochure of the new hatchback.
As with a recent leaked image, this brochure reveals that the Swift’s new bodywork will make it look much more modern than the outgoing car. At the front, there are smaller headlights, a reshaped grille, overhauled bumper design and new black fog light surrounds.
Other new details visible include a blacked-out part in the C-pillar, new taillights and a number of interior refinements including a different gauge cluster, redesigned air vents and a cleaner and higher-class dashboard layout.
The magazine details no less than six variants which will be available in Japan, consisting of the Hybrid RS, RSt, RS, Hybrid ML, XL and XG.
Although the grainy images make it difficult to determine the key features of each, we do know that the new-age Swift will receive 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol and a larger 1.2-liter twin-injector Dualjet powerplants. Transmission options will consist of a five-speed manual, six-speed automatic and a CVT.
