A Porsche 911 Cabriolet extensively modified to provide a McLaren F1-inspired seating layout is currently up for sale in Georgia on Car Fax.

The 911, a 2010 Carrera S model, is thought to have been initially converted to feature a central driving position back in 2012. Although it isn’t clear what motivated the original owner to undertake such a comprehensive interior transformation, it appears to have been done quite well despite the huge amount of fabrication which has been done.

For starters, the dashboard has been modified and the entire gauge cluster, steering wheel and pedals pushed to the center of the cabin. The transmission tunnel and center console then sit to the right of the driver’s seat, effectively taking up all the legroom for one of the rear passengers.

From the outside, the 911 looks totally stock and has a stylish white paint scheme with a set of silver wheels. It also appears to have an aftermarket exhaust system.

Although the $53,491 asking price isn’t cheap, it certainly gets you a unique car. Even still, we wouldn’t want to be seen in any three-seater car unless it was a McLaren F1.
