A heavily camouflaged prototype of McLaren’s replacement to the potent 650S was recently filmed on the streets of the UK.
Known internally as the P14, the model is expected to be revealed next year and was recently filmed on the streets of the UK near Chichester by a YouTuber and fitted with the firm’s customary 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8.
When it arrives, the P14 will top out the Super Series range, even eclipsing the 675LT and MSO HS and around a racetrack, could give the mighty P1 hypercar a run for its money. We expect horsepower to sit around the 700 hp mark, giving the P14 a key edge over the Ferrari 488 GTB and Lamborghini Huracan.
From a visual standpoint, the P14 will be identifiable as a McLaren and will therefore include thin LED taillights inspired by those first used by the P1 and since found on the Sports Series range. However, it will adopt a number of unique elements, particularly revised bumpers and a new interior incorporating a different digital gauge cluster.
